Swansea Round Table went Mountain biking at the Afan Forest Park this week. Tablers and friends tried out the Penhydd cycle track. After a bone shaking ride the chairman said “I am hooked, where can I get one of these bikes!”.

Swansea Round Table recently visited the Cyrenians Cymru at their Swansea High St centre in July. A talk was provided by Mr John Butler on the work of the Swansea Cyrenians. Tablers were treated to a fantastic meal and a warm welcome.

Members of Swansea Round Table will this year support our neighbouring Table of Neath 434. The carnival will be held of Friday the 11th and Satursday the 12th of July 2008 at the Cwrt Herbert Playing fields. Full details can be found out at Neath Round Table website

Swansea Round Table recently supported Real Radio in its ‘Operation Halo’ project. Members of the Table visited Morriston and Singleton Hospital to give out eggs sponsored by Sunnyhaven Caravans. Approximately 160 Chocolate Eggs were handed out to the two wards.
