On the 10th May our annual Handover dinner was held in the Verve 37 in Uplands. Swansea Round Table donned their DJ’s for a night of good food, good company and what proved to be a very good evening out. We were there to see out Harri Lloyd-Davies last act as chairman and Martin Holts last act as president as they handover over their responsibilities to the gullible but willing Ian Welsh and Russell Halliday. Kieth Roberts from Swansea 41 club was the MC for the night, having clearly borrowed his suit from the Man from Delmonte. He made the night go with a bang with his funny stories and witty introductions in front of a crowd of fellow tablers, passed tablers and 41 club members. As well as the various speeches and awards, there was another reason to enjoy the night as Jonathan Lloyd became the latest in a long line of Swansea round table members! Filled with enthusiasm and quite probably alcohol, we made our way to the Garage, stumbling home in the early hours of the morning- greatfull for all the hard work that Harri and Martin had done over the last year, to have made a 12 months not to forget.
